After wanting to create some characters I started playing with characters fRome the telltale game series which are in universe after all! And I'm a massive fan I originally was going to just do clem and lee but the create juices started and I'm half way through episode 1! Including save lot bandits and carver. The only problem I'm experiencing is lack of special rules. Should we home brew some?

*I meant Crawford not carter lol! Ive done most named characters and a few extras aswell. I'm going to do non player character rules (jolene,stranger etc) for scenarios and I've done generic Crawford soldiers and savelots bandits for thematic moments.
I've created cards for Lee's group:-Lee,clem,kenny,katjaa,duck,lilly,Larry,carley,Doug,mark,Ben,omid,christa,glenn,
Vernons group:-Vernon,boyd,Clive,brie,Joyce
Save lots bandits:-Gary,drew,Linda,save lots bandit
Crawford:-Crawford,logan,Jeff,jimmy, ,Crawford aoldier Neutral:-shaun green,chet,andre,molly,molly's sister, chuck,david,Travis,Brenda st John,Danny st John,Andrew st John, Anna
Npc's:-Beatrice,jolene,Irene,the stranger

Im particularly interested in Clem, lee, Kenny, and Molly. I was really bummed molly left the walking dead universe so quickly. I think she has the coolest weapons of any character in the universe (comic, show, and game). I feel like she would be a runner with medium nerve great melee, decent defense, and next to no shoot value. Id probably give her Glenn ability (forget the name of it at the moment) where you can potentially roll out of combat with a shield/star. Also in particular with Molly, any ideas on house ruling her weapons? I know it'll never appear as a card itself since she is the only character in universe to ever have a weapon like that

Molly I thought very similar but went a bit different, the 1st thought I had was nimble and quick but them she's looking like all the other runners! I gave melee 1W shooting 1r and defend 1W 1r, nerve high,4 health,stab! And distract, with 4 pack slots. Came in at 42pts I think

Ok I have completed some custom scenarios for Episode 1 a new day. It contains 6 chapters like days gone by and I have tried to stick to official rules for all chapters or modifying existing effects actions that have a precedent. All characters have only been given existing special rules for balance and cost at the minute. I worked out that all the characters in the kickstarter box are under costed by around 3 points on average so I could include a slight reduction to character base cost. The scenario special rules for scenario 1 I have had a big play around with though. Key things I've tried to do are -pick to play campain(moving mission to mission normally) or story. -in story mode you cannot buy equipment but supplies you find in game are kept. -you can only use "unlocked'survivors, survivors are stated as being unlocked for future missions in the story mode heading by appearing in a mission -similar situation for a killed survivor between games, but in game, before becoming a prone walker they spend x turns creating mayhem (screams and feeding). I've toyed with ways of finding a way to kill a survivor in campaign permanently but it doesn't work well with in game mechanics!?? -if died in game roll a ? Lose that health points permanently, if ate in above manner losses 2x? Permanently, if sits out of chapter restore ? Health points.if dead from this method survivor is permanently dead and plays no part in campaign. -amputations effect character permanently. -injured special rule,numerous ways to get it, so in a chapter you may find you've got to prop up a survivor! The original beta rules had campaign style rules in I want to incorporate them somehow but not sure yet, it could be something to do in between episodes? Obviously it's not all complete but I would love help and feedback to create a community driven expansion that works well with current rules and helps it become sort of a story mode! so everyone's help would be greatly appreciated!! I will post characters and missions soon and I will try and playtest each one as much as possible.
