What are your favourite zombie novels? Discuss and maybe share the love and introduce others to books they may not have heard of and would enjoy a great deal!

I've been enjoying George A Romero's Empire of the Dead. Yes it's a comic not a novel but it is from the master.

I have yet to try any of the NotLD comics, I do mean to one day though. Currently I have the following on my reading list: The Dead Walk the Earth by Luke Duffy Surviving the Evactuation Book 5: Reunion by Frank Tayell The Walking Dead: Invasion by Jay Bonansinga I also whole heartedly recommend the As The World Dies trilogy by Rhiannon Frater and the Autumn series by David Moody. Oh, and the Benny Imura (aka Rot & Ruin) series and Fleshflesh trilogy also. All very good reads. The Benny Imura series is aimed at young adults, but don't let that put you off, it is a far better read than many zombies novels I have read

I have the All Flesh books and those are a good read, the RapG books themselves also contain some really nice short pieces of fluff. I have the old printed editions of the books, I wish I had held off for the printable editions now, lol! The Max Brooks books go without saying too, the Survival Guide is my bible and always have a copy of it with me wherever I go coz, well, just in case heheheh While not zombies I also suggest the Hater trilogy by David Moody

I loved the books world war Z and Survival Guide... both are a lot of fun to read.
The Morningstar Virus trilogy by Z.A. Recht was a good reading.
as Day by Day Armaggedon series by J.L. Bourne.

I have yet to read the 3rd Day by Day Armageddon, but despite loving the first 2 books the idea of aliens puts me off it Not heard of the Morningstar Virus trilogy though, I'll have to look them up. Currently reading The Dead Walk The Earth by Luke Duffy, it starts off slow but by the time I'd hit the 100 page mark I was hooked! Also try Allison Hewitt Is Trapped (I may have spelled it wrong), I forget who it was by but I really enjoyed that book too, sadly the sequel/spinoff was a little dull
