Hi all, My name is Joakim, I'm 44 years old and live in the south of Sweden with my wife and 2 daughters. I don't have much experience with miniature games, I played some Blood Bowl in the 90's and a lot of role playing games, mostly the Swedish version of Dungeons & Dragons, in the 80's. I follow The Walking Dead series on TV, but after pledging for this KS game I started to read the comic book as well since the game is based on it. Really looking forward to the game and to get in to the miniature hobby. I pledged as a EB and for all expansions and add-ons, so I have a lot of painting and gaming a head of me. Cheers! Hey, I reckoned there was only some time until another Swede found his/her way in here aswell!

Hi This should be fun. A bit of background, I've been playing various fantasy games since approximately the late Middle Ages. Well it seems like it sometimes. Actually I started with Minifigs 'Mythical Earth' range in the 1970's and haven't really looked back. I played every edition of D&D, my favourite is probably BECMI (for those who know), and my D&D campaign is still set in Mystara. I went through all the GW games, but have moved over to Mantic, via Kings of War. I'm not a massive Zombie fan, though one of my gaming buddies is, and I have tried several of the games out there. I do like the Walking Dead, firstly through the TV show, then through the comics. I have tried the playtest rules and am really looking forward to this when I finally get hold of it.

Hey Aaron, it looks like there is already some advice on painting and modelling on here, otherwise yo could check out Mantic's own forum and i get loads of advice from the Reaper Miniatures Forum as well. The important thing is to keep trying and not get discouraged. It might be worth picking up some old minis (eBay is your friend) and a paint set and just having a go.

Regrettably had a clear out many years ago in a loss of interest but have been back into it about 15 years now. 40k mostly,LOTR and past couple years 15mm WW2. This is my 2nd Zombie KS as i have always wanted to try it out but hadnt seen a game i fancied. I havw twighlight creations Zombies!!! Which is a giggle but not the wargame i wanted. I need a bigger house like I suppose most of us do. I had a blast on the KS and it's a great idea to just keep it going on here

Hello all I am Daniel from Northern California USA. I am an avid gamer ! I started with 1st edition D and D 33 years ago with my older brothers. We played Gurps then got into Warhammer 40k and Epic. Star fleet battles, and battle fleet gothica. I Stopped playing for a time do t real life and started painting again about 15 years ago for fun. I started back into Warhammer 40k and Fantasy until I found Kings of War which l play now. I play Wild West Exodus now more than anything. My favorite thing to do is build terrain and game boards. Any way thanks for creating this cool forum. I hope to post some terrain picks up soon !

Hi all
I'm Adam in Cornwall, England by way of Wales. I am a veteran miniatures gamer of 27 years having played over twenty different systems. I am part of a group of gamers(mostly ex GW staff, I was a store manager) who still get together for wargaming and boardgaming. we regularly play Spartacus, Sons of Anarchy, Archer, Batman(Arkham Asylum and the miniatures game) 3 different TWD games, Assassins creed, GoT, Gears, Zombiecide, etc. Really whatever anyone fancies on any given night. I also play Sons and the Best Defence with my wife and older children. Really can't wait to get them in to All out War too. My wife is nervous about diving into the world of miniatures gaming but is such a big fan of the comics/show that she is game for it. I have a lot of painting and terrain making experience and plan to do everything in a grayscale to match the comics, picking out blood in red like Sin City. I already have miniatures of my wife and I as Zombies as they were our cake toppers for our wedding cake, but will probably make survivor versions to, along with a plan to do the guts from Shaun of the Dead, Ash and various other cult icons. Going to be a busy time alongside my finishing of my 15,000 pt Eldar army.

Hi all;
Big fan of seeing the conversation continue outside of the KS comment section. Especially excited to see what folks start doing with this game when it arrives. I will likely be a regular poster in the painting section.
My name is Jason from Grand Rapids Michigan, USA and I'll put paint on any lump of plastic I get my hands on. On rare occasions I even get to play a game with them.
So cool to see what a multi-national community this already is!

Hi everyone.
My name is Philip though most call me Wiz short for Wizard. I'm 26 and an avid wargamer though I have very little in the way of a group to play with. Mostly just me and my brothers. I collect most of everything and paint alot. I paint all sorts, Fantasy, Modern, Sci-Fi and just whatever takes my fancy at the time. Still need to paint DS and Loka, hopefully before TWD arrives.
