What do you guys think... I'm not sure about it yet, it was pretty cold blooded.

Planning to watch the episode in a bit. This season has been very good so far, I hope this weeks' episode is as good. Normally a friend of mine is really ripping into the show by this point in the season, but he is enjoying it too. That goes to show how good it has been too lol!

Let me know what you think after you watch it, it was another awesome episode IMO! This season has probably been my favorite, so far anyway.

well...it's war, and you can only cold blooded if the question is how to survive. Not sure what would have been the best strategy, wait for them/go for them...
Anyways they knew from what happened in Hilltop that the Saviors were a threat.

It was pretty brutal but well handled, especially with Glenn. A bit worried that it might be Carol that we lose now though.

Glenn and Heath were very well handled in that sequence. I wish they would just do a better job of hiding how pregnant that actress who plays Tara is though, not seen disguises like that since watching Frasier years ago lol!

Funny you say that as I said the same to my wife last night. Really badly done, even though you can also see it in her face and neck. Kid of hoping she takes the Glenn beating, bit of a pointless character for me.

Well all things consider she said on talking dead that she was 9 months in the episode, and it was the only one which I even realized she was pregnant and they were hiding it, so I don't think it was that big of a deal. Lots of respect to her for working at 9 months.
Personally, after the group pulled that raid last episode, I'm not going to feel so bad when Negan's group offs some of them, because that was pretty cold blooded. I think that the survivors are "bad" and all, but they didn't know enough about them yet to justify that attack. There were probably good people in there just like in Woodbury. Still, at the end of the day Rick is right, sooner or later the survivors would have attacked them. At least this time they are out ahead of it. Rick is season 6 would murder Rick in season 2, haha, that kid they were debating killing back on the farm wouldn't stand a chance now!

If Shane was still alive now he'd probably be Rick's bitch, lol! Yeah, Randall in s2 wouldn't have been able to say anything before Rick stabbed him through the ear. Hell, I'm amazed he didn't walk into Hilltop guns blazing just to show them who's boss S for Negan killing in retaliation, that is pretty much how it played out in the comic so they are following the same plotline, albeit in slightly different ways. I want the final bunch of episodes this week damn it! I cannot wait for John Winch... err... The Com... I mean Negan to appear!

It's so ironic that Rick is now what he killed Shane and the G'v'nor for being and yet everyone is cool with that.

I wouldn't say Rick is like the Governor. Mr Blake was a deranged sociopath that liked the look at zombie heads in fish tanks, keep his zombified daughter/niece around and kill his own people if he decided he didn't like them. Also, Rick is pretty stright up with his people and doesn't feed them a constant stream of lies to keep them in line

He's certainly heading that way, keeping an inner circle around him. He's more Shane than Guv at the moment but unless it goes the way of the comic and he's rained back a bit then he's going to go full Ricktatorship by the end of season 7.

Ricktatorship, I like it, hahaha. He was kinda like this at this point in the comic as well though, kept those he'd been with longer close as his inner circle, it's only really been more recent in him allowing "outsiders" into the circle and I think we'll be seeing that down the road. I do like how the show is going right now though and looking at Rick in the comic at this point he is very similar, but slightly tweaked to keep it fresh. He is more like Shane, but isn't as threatening to those in the immediate group. Heck, Shane was downright menacing toward Dale when confronted over what happened with Otis and I don't think we will see Rick being like that.
