So let's get the big issue discussed in here!

I hate to say it, but I feel it’s going to be Daryl… and I think it would be a huge loss to the show and it wouldn’t be worth the shock value or help propel the story forward IMO… I’d rather it be Abraham or Morgan, still a big enough character to shock, but not at the level of Rick, Michonne or Daryl.

Daryl, they have pushed the whole "oh no Glenn is gonna die" thing this season for his death to have any real impact now. To many fans think Daryl is to safe and Kirkman loves to kill characters with a large fan base, plus he has final say over any large events in the show like the deaths of larger characters Daryl was a fine support character, but his time was up 3 seasons ago if you ask me

The only thing pointing towards Glenn is that they have (especially after mid season) been quite strict towards the comics story (not 100% sure since it was a while since I read the comics centered around Hilltop)...

I also think they'll stick with the comic.. Glenn?
Don't really want to see any of them being killed tho tbh. Well..maybe the priest.

I've given this quite a bit of thought . I've gone with Carol , as her death would be a major shock . I narrowed it down to 5 people -Daryl / Abraham / Glenn / Carol / Michonne Although I'm not sure Abraham is popular enough to get the real Neegan hatred they're looking for . And I do think it'll have to be one of the original members , so probably not Michonne . From the rest , taking out the group's best fighter would be a smart tactic so Daryl is the smart money but I think they're going to try and throw us

I'm kinda thinking Abraham. Not sure why. Been thinking it for a while even before the whole Neegen debarco.

Seeing hoe Abraham is now teaming up with Eugene on runs I can see a scene from the comic (before Negan shows up) happening soon, plus it would really have a "WTF" reaction for fans that don't read the comic, heheh. I know I wasn't expecting it to happen when I read it since it came out of nowhere and I hope it does happen in the show too

Everything points to Daryl, especially as he has his own new series he is working on with AMC and probably will be starting filming Boondock 3(hopefully.) Plus it will have a big impact, especially with the female audience.

Abraham will die later, Maggie, Michonne and Carl are important for future developments, Carol is safe for at least another season, no-one else will have enough impact.

Well, this is Rick's show it's going to come down to just him and/or carl in the end.

I can see Carl dying before the end though , Rick will still have a child to look out for in Judith .

Also in addition to Norman's busy schedule it should be said , what's left for Daryl to do . He's had a lot of plotlines already .

i don't think Carl will die. I agree the show is about Rick, and i believe "in the american culture" the hero always wins at the end (especially in tv/movies). His mission is to save & offer a future to his children at any price. So he might sacrifice himself at the very end, but i don't think it will either happen. And after Carl gets shot in the eye... Rick's monologue "i want you to see this future..." says all about the road.
Rick, Carl & Michonne will survive.
Maggie too i think (Glenn... who knows...but i have this impression that the combo Glenn/Maggie are important for balance & for keeping interested part of the women audience. This is why i think Daryl might be the big hit for Lucile in the season's finale.
